It's your classic workplace romance. Our story begins in mid 2018. Jesse accidentally chats the wrong Monica with a work question. After a quick google search, Monica naturally answers the question as if it were her job and advises Jesse to direct any additional questions her way. Jesse plays along because he absolutely cannot turn down the chance to riff a bit and, naturally, chaos ensuse. The following days are filled with absurd questions and even more absurd answers which eventually evolve into chatting nonstop about our favorite music, sports teams, tv shows, and podcasts. Before you know it, Monica is more than used to Jesse's chats helping her make it through the work day and she noticeably mopes around on the days where he is absent. Uh oh. Our first "date" comes a few months later; this is the date we celebrate becoming BFFs. August of 2018. We both come to work on a Saturday, a bit unhappy to be there but absolutely relieved to see each other. We sit side by side in the completely empty room, share the same headphones, and giggle uncontrollably at youtube videos as we work. "Do you want to hang out after this?" Jesse asks. "Absolutely." Monica responds. We end up at a local brewery where we play some trivia, pick a few of our favorite brews to go and head over to a nearby park where we sit for hours chatting, laughing, making out (best friends make out, right?) and watching youtube videos until the wee hours of the morning. We take some time to deepen our bond as best friends and make things official in July of 2019. 7 years, 1 house, 1 good boy and countless memories later Jesse is down on one knee in Mexico making things OFFICIALLY official asking Monica to be his wife. She said, "Wait, what?" We can't wait to become husband and wife and celebrate with our closest family and friends!
