Which Airport is best to fly into?
Answer
We recommend flying into Denver International Airport. There's typically direct flights from New Orleans through Southwest. Check periodically as the pricing does tend to fluctuate! You can also fly into Colorado Springs, it is just a little bit further away.
Question
How will we get from Golden to the venue in Idaho Springs?
Answer
We will be providing transportation to and from the venue with shuttle buses. The venue is on top of a mountain at approximately 9,000ft and is about a 40-60 minute drive or shuttle from the hotels. You are more than welcome to drive yourselves to the venue, however, please make sure you are comfortable driving in mountain conditions. It may be a little snowy up in the mountains. There's two different ways to get to the venue if you are driving yourself. Please check beforehand that you are NOT taking the switchbacks unless you want an adventure. The venue is at 9,000 feet and I live below sea level, what can I do to prepare?
Answer
Altitude sickness is REAL and we want to minimize it as much as possible. 1. We recommend arriving in Colorado to acclimate at least 48 hours in advance. 2. It is so important to STAY HYDRATED. 3. Take it easy. We encourage hiking and exploring but don't push yourself too hard. 4. Wear sunscreen when outside, you will sunburn if you don't. 5. We want you to have fun but be careful when drinking - the alcohol hits harder at elevation.

What's the dress code?
Answer
Our wedding is cocktail attire, and for late autumn in Idaho Springs, we suggest: mid-length dresses, elegant separates, sport coats & pants (no jeans please), or suits. It may be chilly so please be sure to dress accordingly.

Are children invited to the wedding and reception?
Answer
While we love kids, this event is engineered for adults and only a handful of children are invited, such as the flower girls/ring bearers and their siblings.

What time will the shuttles do pick up?
Answer
Pick up for shuttles will be at Denver Marriott West. Address: 1717 Denver West Marriott Blvd, Golden, CO 80401 Time: 2:30pm, meet downstairs, shuttles leave promptly at 2:45pm
