If you have even a shadow of a doubt that you are sick, please take a COVID19 test before coming to our wedding. Similarly, if you have tested positive within the 10 day window of our wedding, we respectfully ask that you do not attend. We have loved ones to protect, and want everyone to remain safe and healthy. Thank you for your understanding, and we can't wait to celebrate with you!
Our story began in early 2018 while we were both pursuing our Masters degrees at DePaul University. While Ava was navigating the endless directions that her nursing career could take her, and Chris was learning the vast possibilities of computer science, they had one thing in common - a friendship with Lauren Anderson. Our paths first crossed as many young students do - at the bar. After our first meeting, both of us were bombarding Lauren with questions about one another in hopes of meeting again at the next group outing. Several group outings later, on August 4th, 2018, we had our first date at Corridor Brewery. We both agree that our date felt like it flew by, which to our surprise had been 3 hours. We could have talked forever about family, friends, and Ava's lack of football knowledge. When we were together, even after only a few dates, it felt like home. We knew that we were about to embark on a very special journey. Two and a half years of brewery dates, lakefront walks, travels and a new puppy later, Chris asked Ava to marry him on the river walk in downtown Chicago. Of course, Ava said "thank you." We feel so honored and blessed to have found each other, and would not be able to imagine our wedding day without our friends and family who have made us into the people we are today. We want to thank everyone for their support, acceptance, and love throughout our journey thus far. That being said, let's party!
