What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Our dress code is formal/black-tie optional. Men - we ask that you wear a tuxedo or dark suit and tie. Ladies - floor length, midi- or knee-length cocktail dress would be appropriate. Please note our ceremony and reception will be held outdoors!

Is there transportation to the venue?

Answer

A shuttle will be available to take everyone from the pick-up point in Burleigh directly to our Wedding Venue. The bus will depart at 2pm ensuring everyone can comfortably get to the venue on time. We want to make sure everyone can enjoy the day without worrying about driving or transportation, so sit back, relax, and let the shuttle do the work!

Are kids invited?

We love your little ones! However we have decided to keep our wedding an adults only event. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by 1st of October 2025 so we can finalise numbers and details. Thank you!

A note on gifts

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all! However should you wish to honour us with a gift, a Wishing Well will be available at the reception.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us - please party accordingly! Once you have RSVP'd there is a question asking what you're most likely to drink. Answering this will ensure the bar is properly stocked all night long!

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

There is a guest car park at Gold Coast Farm House, if you opt against the shuttle service. Cars can be left at the guest car park overnight; they will need to be collected by 9:30am the following morning.

Can we uber to the venue?

Answer

Taxis and Ubers do not come out to the Gold Coast Farm House even if they are pre-booked. We recommend organising a private hire car for those guests who do not want to use the bus service.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accomodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. We'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

If you are not coming via the organised shuttle, we ask that you please arrive at 3pm for a 3:30pm ceremony start time to ensure you are seated on time.
