Well, the story actually starts back in college at Cal before Olivia and Riley even knew each other. While they weren’t close, they definitely lived close (across the street from each other). They might have known “of” each other and might have thought each other was cute, but never had a real conversation. This might have been because Riley had not yet the charisma to approach her. Fast forward 2 years and out to San Francisco, at a bar called Palomino on the water. Olivia was having drinks with one of her best friends Nikki, and Riley was slamming some beers with his coworkers (his office was in the building above the bar). Riley after a lot of reading had leveled up his confidence and charm and finally made the approach. He went to go speak to ‘Nikki’ who he was friends with in college and happened to chat a bit with the beautiful Olivia. Boom. History. Well actually history had a slow start but the moral of this story is persistence pays off! Olivia and Riley met up again briefly at a Rufus du Sol show and of course were happy to see each other :) Riley then proceeded to hit Liv up (probably like 5 times) until she said she would go on a date with him. They had their first date at a bar called The Snug then were having so much fun they had dinner at a place called Jackson Trattoria. From that date until now, Olivia and Riley have spoken (either texting talking or living together) every single day! No joke :) Olivia became Riley’s official “gf” about after their first date and the rest is history. A few moves a couple new jobs and many trips later they have made a little home in LA. Their favorite things are anything outside or in the water. They love the beach, swimming and surfing, diving and oceans, fishing (liv is a killer angler) and hiking and traveling to beautiful places like Bali and Hawaii. They love walks around the neighborhood which sometimes end up being 7 miles. They spend hours concocting new bear diet recipes in the kitchen which sometimes even includes their catch of the day. Their favorite games are card games and poker, so if you are ever in LA come through. We might let you win :D Their dream house is a hacienda by the beach in SB or maybe just a hut (tent?) in Hawaii. And no kids for a while in case you are wondering ha ha ha :) Gotta make as much trouble while you can!
