Liv and Noah met in the Fall of 2019 working together at Luke's Cafe on campus at Utah State University. Noah decided to ask her out after she jokingly threw a loaf of bread at him finally getting his attention. We went to Angie's for dinner, and we got so wrapped up in conversation we were there for nearly 2 hours and barely ate any of our food! (Which if you know Liv, it's rare she doesn't eat all her food and more). We didn't want the night to end, so we drove around Logan for a while then went back to meet Liv's roommates. The night ended at 1:00am after his car was booted in the parking lot. Even with the little mishaps like the booted car, it was the best first date either of us had ever been on and we knew we wanted to spend more time together.
The evening started with a surprise homemade dinner from Noah, set up romantically and beautifully in the Logan Green House. Surrounded by perfect pine trees that would soon be decorated as Christmas trees, we talked and laughed about the memories they've made together over the past two years. Liv thought he was going to propose there, but they ended up leaving the green house to go for a little hike. They got to the trail that led to a bench they had gone to on one of their first dates looking over all of Cache Valley. As they came over the hill, Noah had some help set up a heart shape in rose petals and daisies with twinkly little lights. That's where he got down on one knee to ask me to marry him -- it was perfect.
