FAQs

Question

Can I bring a Guest?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family, and we’ve carefully planned our guest list to keep the event personal and meaningful. Therefore, we can only allow those who are listed on your invite. Your invitation will be made out to “[Your Name] & Guest” if a plus one has been given to you.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding event as adult-only, with exception to those included in the wedding party.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception at different locations?

Answer

Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception are all at Portage Point Inn! The ceremony will take place on the front lawn and immediately move into cocktail hour on the deck.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests dress in semi-formal attire. Think suits, long dresses, dress shirts, and cocktail dresses. We’d love to see our friends and family dressed up—no jeans, please! Dress to feel your best and ready to celebrate with us!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Unfortunately, in Onekama we are not able to request blocks at local hotels. However, we have various recommendations if you go to the "Travel" tab on this site.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We are arranging a shuttle to go to and from PPI before the ceremony and after the reception. Please see details for the shuttle in the "Travel" tab of this site.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Formal Invitations are still yet to come. Once they are sent, we will note the RSVP date on the invite as well as on our website.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that our guests arrive at least 15 minutes early to the front lawn of Portage Point Inn where the ceremony is taking place in order to find their seats.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Please visit the "Registry" tab to view our registry items.
