We met in the most 21st century way possible, and it'll surprise you who made the first move. In the spring of 2016, a mutual friend at the time had sent Liv a Snapchat of their group of friends hanging out. Liv thought nothing of it, until a certain boy caught her eye. Yep, it was Michael. If you know Liv, in highschool she was never the kind to make the first move, but there was something special about Michael that broke her out of her shell. Shortly after the Snapchat, Liv found Michael on Instagram and sent him a DM, quite literally saying "Hey, your'e cute. I'm ***'s friend". The initial DM turned into days of talking, growing stronger and deeper feelings for each other, but they still hadn't met in person. One afternoon, the mutual friend insisted Liv go to the high school dance show to watch their friends perform. Liv was reluctant but was eventually persuaded to go. Liv drove to the school, walked to the theatre to find the friend, and to her utter shock, found Michael sitting in the chair. It was instant butterflies for both. 13 days later on the 18th of May in 2016, Michael asked Liv to be his girlfriend on what he thought was Liv's birthday (he was a day early, Liv never lets him forget that one). Liv and Michael spent the ENTIRE summer together, falling deeper and deeper in love with each other. At the end of that summer, Michael transferred to the school Liv was attending. They spent almost every single day together. They became involved with each others families and quickly became inseparable. In 2020, Liv and Michael moved into their first apartment together where they still reside today. On February 20th of 2023, to Liv's complete surprise (despite knowing about the ring) Michael asked Liv to marry him in their apartment.
