What are you doing for COVID-19 protocols?

Answer

Please note that we are requiring that everyone in attendance be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or provide proof of a negative covid test within 48 hour of the wedding. Please email a photo of your negative tests to themaxwells2020@gmail.com. Disposable masks and hand sanitizer will be readily available for you to use. Please also make sure to monitor potential symptoms before the event and know that your health and safety for our guests is of utmost importance.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 1st, 2022 on our website. Note that we will not be doing paper RSVPS.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space and the desire for an intimate wedding day we ask only those listed on the invitation attend. We have done our best to accommodate for everyone's needs.

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

We want this celebration to be an adults only event. We know you'll be excited for a night off! We are looking forward to seeing the littles at another time.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be relaxed and laid back with a garden party vibe. We encourage you to wear fun and bright colors and not feel obligated to dress up too much. Of course we would prefer if you don't come in a white wedding dress ;) but we want you to enjoy the night and feel comfortable!

Do you have hotel blocks?

Answer

We have a block of rooms reserved for a special price at the Home2 Suites By Hilton Grand Rapids North. Please call them directly to book and let them know you're with the Maxwell Wedding. Their phone number is 616-228-6730. Please also let us know if you'll be staying there so we can keep track of the number of rooms left! There also are 2 other hotels listed that are close by the Home2 Suites and one close to the venue downtown. Please check the hotel section for more information.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a lot right at the Downtown Market which is very inexpensive. Street parking is also available around the venue and Uber/Lyft are easily accessible.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Dinner will be a taco bar that will include vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. If you need further accommodations please let us know ahead of time!

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we will have beer and wine available from 6-6:30 pm and an open bar from 7-11:15 pm. The bar will be stocked with beer, wine, and a limited number small batch cocktails. Tips for the bartenders are appreciated! Please make sure to drink responsibly and utilize Lyft or Uber at the end of the evening.
