The ceremony is at 4:00pm and the reception will follow, all at the same location! Oak Hill Farm: 8044 N Gabel Ln, Apple River, IL 61001

How should I get to and from the venue?

Answer

There is on site parking if you would like to handle your own transportation. However, if you would like to not be responsible for driving there is a car service called Galena’s General Express. They offer prescheduled rides in cars and party buses! More information can be found under our travel page.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would LOVE to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! The dress code is cocktail/formal. This means no jeans, sneakers, or any casual wear! Our bridesmaids will be in sage green and our groomsmen will be in tan so we recommend avoiding these colors. The wedding will be all outside so plan your outfit accordingly!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception to mainly adults unless otherwise specified on your invitation. We encourage you to use this as a date night to relax and socialize! If your invitation says "The [Your Last Name] Family", this implies that invites are extended to your child/children and you will be able to search their name when RSVPing!

Can I bring a guest / date?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation, so we ask that you do not bring a guest + we want to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family! Thank you for understanding!

what if I forget to rsvp?

Answer

If we do not get an RSVP back by the date we have provided, it will be marked as a "No." We will miss you celebrating with us, however we have to provide total guest counts to the venue in the timely manner they have given to us and cannot accept late RSVP's due to this. We hope that you understand!

Can we use our phones during the ceremony?

Answer

We understand your desire to take pictures of us during our ceremony, but we ask that you wait until the reception to take photos or to have your phone out! Thank you for understanding!
