Please RSVP at your earliest convenience or by June 1st at the latest.
Cocktail attire! It should be a warm evening and we will be outdoors on the tarmac for the reception so dress accordingly! Feel free to lean into TWA's 1960s theme!
If your invitation specified the name of your date, then yes! We had to keep our guest list to a certain number so we weren't able to extend everyone a plus one invitation. If your invitation did not include your significant other and you'd like to bring them please let us know and we will see if we can add them after getting our RSVPs back.
Please plan on arriving by 5:30pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6pm. Give yourself some extra time for travel as traffic towards the airport can be heavy at times. If you arrive a little early there are plenty of areas of the hotel to explore! Check out the Sweet'N Glow Salon exhibit in the lobby or the museum exhibits on the first and second floors. You can also grab a photo at the photo booth in the lobby while you're looking fabulous in your wedding attire!
We love your kids, but this will be an adults-only wedding. Moms and Dads deserve a fun night out to themselves! Please make childcare plans so that you can come celebrate with us!
There will be valet parking at the front entrance of the hotel for $20 and overnight airport parking at terminal 5 for $65. If you're staying at a nearby hotel you can take their free airport shuttle to JFK! Just make sure you have a plan to get home safely so you can take advantage of the open bar!!
TWA is amazing and we 1000% recommend treating yourself to a stay there if you can! There are also plenty of other hotels nearby for varying prices that include airport shuttle! See the travel section of our website for more info!
Nope! We are doing things a little differently by hosting a cocktail style reception. You can still expect to be fed though! We will have passed appetizers, food stations, and dessert on the tarmac.
A cocktail style reception is more relaxed and informal than a traditional sit down dinner. Rather than having assigned tables, our guests are able to mingle more freely. We love when our different groups of friends and family get to know one another! We hope you have a great time reconnecting with loved ones and making new friends too! Don't worry, there will still be plenty of seating options such as "The Connie" which is the airplane bar on the tarmac, scattered tables and chairs, and a few lounge style areas on the tarmac as well!
Yes! We are getting married in the church earlier the morning of our wedding. Family should have gotten a card with information about the church ceremony with your invitation. If you would like to join, but didn't get the information, reach our to the bride or groom and we'll get it to you! If you are staying at the hotel or nearby join us at the rooftop pool the next day! The pool is reserved for free swim for TWA hotel guests only from 7am-11am, but others are welcome to join after 11! After 11am reservations are required for a $25 fee per timeslot. You can make your reservations on the TWA website!
If you are looking for ways to fill the time, we recommend grabbing a bite to eat or exploring the city a bit! Here are some of our restaurant recommendations: In Fort Lee, NJ we love Raku for Asian fusion tapas, La Noma for Italian, or City Perch for American. In Washington Heights we love Saggio's for Italian, Terravita for globally inspired dishes, and Mamajuana's Cafe for Dominican food. If you feel like venturing to Brooklyn, check out Cecconi's in DUMBO (where we had our first date!) for Italian, Fette Sau in Williamsburg for barbeque or Time Out Market in DUMBO for a little bit of everything!
