The timeline of loooove
Andrew and Olivia first met at a BBQ Andrew was hosting at his house their first year at SDSU. Olivia decided to take reins of the BBQ while Andrew & his roommates were in the pool. Olivia made Andrew the BEST burger he had ever had and that is where a friendship blossomed. They were “best friends” for about a year.
After about a year of building a solid friends foundation, Olivia and Andrew had their first kiss during Spring Break in Havasu. Olivia had mentioned to her girlfriends that she had an inkling she wanted Andrew to be more than “just a friend”. They told her the only way to find out was with a kiss. Andrew will still argue to this day that he made the first move...
After graduation, Olivia took a job working for Hyatt in Orlando. While this was very exciting for her, it meant she and Andrew would be doing long distance. It wasn’t ideal, but not all was bad. They were able to take trips to Disney World, and learn the art of brunching with Olivia’s new friends in Orlando. Olivia made a quick pit stop on Chicago before finally coming home to SoCal.
After returning home from Orlando and Chicago, Andrew and Olivia moved in together in a loft in downtown San Diego. Thinking being next too bars and nightclubs would be fun, it turned out they missed the beach and bike riding on the boardwalk. After 10 months, they moved back to PB.
Andrew and Olivia had wanted a dachshund since they had only been dating for a year. It was so well known that for years until they got Soli, their friends would give them Dachshund themed gifts for birthdays and Christmas. Just before it got very weird, Andrew surprised Olivia with Soli on Christmas morning 2018.
Having been born out of college spring break, survived a long distance relationship, and now living in their 4th residence, Andrew knew it was finally time to upgrade this relationship status (certainly wasn’t all the constant questions from friends & family). While visiting Doyle & Tere in Walnut Creek, Andrew proposed to Olivia on Mt. Diablo. The same mountain where Doyle & Tere were married, and where Olivia’s grandma rests.
