We met on the road—literally. I was deep into medical school in Michigan, grinding through long days and even longer nights. He was a truck driver, constantly on the move, chasing miles and making things happen. One ordinary day, we both happened to walk into the same gym, unaware that life was about to shift in the best way. Our eyes met across the room—one of those slow-motion moments you hear about in movies. He smiled. I gave a quick nod, staying focused on my warm-up, but trust me, I noticed him. Between sets and reps, we kept stealing glances, the kind that say more than words ever could. Eventually, he walked over. I asked for help moving some equipment—truthfully, I didn’t need it (#gains), but hey, it worked. He asked me out that very night. I couldn’t make it, but we compromised on coffee the next morning. That coffee? Pure magic. The kind of conversation that flows like you’ve known each other forever. A couple days later, fate handed him a load back to the city, and we finally had our first real date. Since then, we’ve laughed, loved, grown together in faith—and now, we’re getting married. What started as a gym glance turned into a forever kind of love.
We have had the honor of studying the bible, being born again, and growing in relation with Christ within these past few years. With that, our relationship and future marriage is meant to honor him. We now want our story to be an inspiration to lead others to salvation and hope that you will join us as we give God his credit on our wedding day.
