Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting. Cocktail hour will be held on the lawn and patio. The reception will be inside.

Will there be parking at the wedding?

Answer

Yes! River Bend has ample parking for guests and there will be an attendant to guide you. Please drive responsibly. If you do need to leave a vehicle overnight, it must be picked up by 9am the next morning. We do plan to offer a shuttle service from the hotel - more on this to come.

Are kids invited?

Answer

This is a destination wedding for both of our families. Children of relatives and those traveling are invited to attend. Please reach out to us for more details!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Think semi-formal attire with a touch of mountain charm. For Women: Mid-length or long dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy skirts paired with blouses. Natural colors, textured fabrics (like velvet or wool blends), and layers such as shawls, wraps, or dress coats. Footwear should be practical for grass—block heels, wedges, boots, or flats as ideas! For Men: Suits or dress pants with button-down shirts, paired with sport coats or blazers. Ties are optional. Wool or tweed jackets and dressy boots, cowboy boots, or loafers would work well for the setting. For Everyone: The mountain air can get chilly in the evening - layers are encouraged! Avoid overly casual clothing like jeans, sneakers, or anything too lightweight for the season.
