Beacon Overlook Hike
A scenic hike on well-maintained trails with graffiti-covered ruins and a sweeping view of the Hudson River! Address is for the trailhead parking lot. If you would like to make this a longer hike, consider continuing past the overlook to climb the Beacon Fire Tower for an even better view! This is one of our favorite hikes in the Hudson Highlands. This is a moderately challenging hike.

A flat, easy woodland trail to the beach of the Hudson River! Combine this with a visit to the quaint Cold Spring main street for a meal and ice cream by the docks.
Breakneck Ridge Hike
A short, but strenuous hike that begins with a rock scramble! (This is not a walk in the park!) Address is for the trailhead.
Boscobel House and Gardens
19th-century Gregorian mansion with gardens, orchards, and striking views. Advance reservations are encouraged. (Visit Saturday morning for the Cold Spring farmer's market located on the grounds!) Afterwards, check out the Cold Spring Main Street and waterfront!
