REC (Aeroporto Internacional do Recife/Guararapes - Gilberto Freyre)

This is the best place to fly into. You could go to São Paulo if it is easier for you to get there, but you'll need another flight to Recife.

Shuttle

Shuttle from the Airport to the hotel where the ceremony will be placed.

A van provided by us, will be running from the REC Airport to the main hotel (Pousada Bangalôs do Gameleiro) for those who are coming from US or Taiwan, in the morning of friday (12/4/20). Please let us know your arrival time. A van from the hotel to the REC Airport will be leaving in the morning of sunday (12/6/20). Please let us know your departure time. Please send us your travel itinerary ASAP, so we can coordenate a proper departure time for the van.

Pousada Bangalôs do Gameleiro

This is where we’ll be having our Ceremony and Reception. It's 1:30 hour away from the REC Airport in a paradise called Praia dos Carneiros! We booked the entire venue for the weekend. If you want accomodations at this hotel, the price is $250 per person for the weekend (from friday 2pm to sunday noon). This includes breakfast and parking. The hotel restaurant and bar will be open normal hours. Please contact us, so we can secure your spot and arrange the payment.

About Praia dos Carneiros

With a rustic and peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty, the beach is perfect for those looking for peace of mind. You will be surprised with the dreamy beautiful beaches of Pernambuco, and the rough Carneiros beach is no exception. 5 km from the city of Tamandaré, white sand and palm trees are present along this lovely beach. Its landscape is framed by the estuary of Formoso River and a reef wall forms natural pool during low tide. With calm and clear waters, Carneiros beach is pure tranquility, perfect for bathing in the sea and enjoying with your family. This beach still has wild characteristics but has a good infrastructure with restaurants offering tasty food and beverage. There is a lovely church from the eighteenth century bathed gently by the waves. The São Benedito church, or Igrejinha dos Carneiros has a simple architecture but it gives a special touch to this small paradise.
