Will the ceremony and reception be inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside, and the reception will be inside. There is a backup plan to move the ceremony inside if rain is anticipated.

What measures are in place to help us stay cool in the Georgia heat during the ceremony?

Answer

There will be large canopy umbrellas covering the general seating area during the ceremony. Also, personal fans will be available in the venue entryway. Don't forget to grab yours once you arrive! We trust our guests will be considerate of others when grabbing a fan, as supply is limited to one fan per person.

How far is the walk from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

The walk from the ceremony to the reception is about 30 or so yards and slightly uphill in the grass. If weather causes the ceremony to be indoors, the ceremony would then take place in the same room as the reception.

What is the parking situation?

Answer

Guests must use valet parking if not using a rideshare service such as Uber or Lyft. Valet parking will be provided for all guests at no charge. Tipping valet workers is courteous, yet optional.

Will there be an adequate supply of rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft near the venue?

Answer

Yes. Please consolidate rides whenever possible to help ensure everyone has access to safe transportation.

Are people going to the Battery and Braves game on the Thursday before the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Many friends from various groups will join Kelly and Gary to hang out at the Battery around 5 PM before the Braves game. Please refer to the "Things To Do" section of this wedding website for more information regarding the Battery. The game is on Thursday, August 7th at 7:30 PM EST versus the Miami Marlins. Please purchase general admission tickets for the game; ideally using an online ticket vendor such as Ticketmaster or StubHub. Please contact Gary for assistance, if needed. There will not be an organized or formal party group arranged for the game. We invite all of our wedding guests to join us for both the Battery and Braves game. We hope to see you there!

What is the attire for the wedding?

Semi-formal attire is requested.
