We met through a small change of fate with a big effect that a common friend of ours, Mariela, introduced. I was studying Swedish with Mariela, besides we were part of a the same book writing club that we founded together with other friends, which miserably lasted about two weeks. And Said and Mariela were studying their masters together. We ended up meeting at a coffee shop, he had just returned from Sweden with souvenirs that I requested - lykerish and surstroming (not that I liked any of those). Striked by my strage souvenir choices, and me by his looks and intelligence, we had so many common interests,, and through thick and thing, we got to know each other at the deepest level, and the rest is history.
