Well if ask Enrique he would say our story started when I supposedly yelled at him in the Hedrick hallways in 7th grade for calling me short. That did not happen…..in reality, our story began when we reconnected at Best Buy in the fall of 2019. Throughout the years, in high school, little did we know we were always so close to each other; Hanging around the same group of friends just with a wall in between us. Always walked past each other in the school hallways with just one glance but no words were ever exchanged. If you would’ve told us we’d be getting married let alone creating our own little family, we would not believe it. Little did we know we were as they say “meant to be.” God brought us together and god will continue to keep us together. Bueno, si le preguntaran a Enrique, diría que nuestra historia empezó cuando supuestamente le grité en los pasillos de Hedrick en séptimo grado por decirme que era bajita. Eso no pasó… En realidad, nuestra historia comenzó cuando nos reencontramos en Best Buy en otoño de 2019. Durante años en la preparatoria, sin darnos cuenta, siempre habíamos estado tan cerca; siempre andábamos con el mismo grupo de amigos, solo que con una pared de por medio. Siempre nos cruzábamos en los pasillos de la escuela, nos mirábamos de reojo, pero nunca intercambiábamos palabras. Si nos hubieran dicho que nos casaríamos, y mucho menos que formaríamos nuestra propia familia, no lo habríamos creído. Poco sabíamos que, como dicen, “estábamos destinados a estar juntos.” Dios nos unió y Dios seguirá manteniéndonos unidos.
