New Orleans has Bourbon Street. Memphis has Beale. It's the Birthplace of the Blues and a guarunteed party any time of day!
The world famous Peabody ducks march daily at 11am and 5pm. Get to the lobby bar early to grab a cocktail and a table close to the fountain!
The home of Elvis Presley! Go for the gold records, bejeweled jumpsuits, shag carpets, and, if you're lucky, the King himself! We highly recommend reserving a few hours for a self tour.
The "Birthplace of Rock 'n Roll" was John and Madeline's first stop as an engaged couple! The staff is amazing, and the tour is chalk full of legendary musicians. The tickets are first come, first serve - so do yourself a favor, and get there early! It's worth it.
Memphis is the pork barbecue mecca of the world, and there are great joints in every nook and cranny of this town. While everyone has a favorite, few can question that the Rendezvous is a quintessential Memphis experience. For over 70 years, the Vergos family has been serving their signature dry rub ribs in a basement through a downtown alley across from the Peabody Hotel. And while the world outside has changed considerably, very little has changed in that alley basement. This is one of Madeline's all-time favorite barbecue experiences!
Memphians know great barbecue. And since it opened in 2002, Central BBQ has been ranked as the number one spot for BBQ in Memphis. Swing by while your downtown!
