We're getting married!

We were living just eight minutes apart in Charlotte, but it took a very determined mutual friend and the Lord's plan to bring us together. Emily moved to Charlotte in August 2020 and started working at a dental office, where she met Sabrina—her soon-to-be work bestie and unofficial matchmaker. Sabrina had a hunch that her husband’s best friend, Charlie (who had been in Charlotte since 2018), might just be the one. For months, she talked us up to each other. Emily wasn’t totally sold on being set up, and Charlie... well, he thought the whole thing sounded a little too good to be true. He wanted to reach out but didn’t want to seem like “that guy.” Sabrina, of course, kept pushing—and eventually, we both gave in. We finally went on our first blind date in December, and everything just clicked. The conversation was easy, the connection was real, and before we knew it, one date turned into forever. Now we’re getting married! Still living eight minutes down the road from where it all started, and forever grateful to the friend who saw the bigger picture before we did!
