What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is encouraged, though wear what is most comfortable for you! The ceremony will take place outdoors on dry grass, so choose your footwear accordingly.

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

The weather in August typically features mild temperatures with sunny days, accompanied by coastal fog in the mornings and evenings. Temperatures usually reach highs in the 70s during the day and drop to lows in the mid-50s at night. We will have the ceremony outdoors, and move indoors for the reception. There will also be heat lamps available should we need them. For those planning to come out for the weekend, we recommend packing layers and jackets for the cooler mornings and evenings.

Are there recommended places to stay?

Answer

Yes! We have some recommendations on our website's "Stay" tab, but feel free to stay anywhere around the Marshall, Petaluma, or Tomales area.

How should we get to the venue?

Answer

We will provide shuttle services for those who stay around the area (even AirBnbs!). For those who prefer to drive, there is ample parking at the venue. Using a hailing service such as Lyft/Uber is highly discouraged as it is extremely scarce around the area.
