Jake and Katelynn’s story began in the most unexpected way. Despite sharing many mutual friends and likely crossing paths over the years, they had never truly met. It wasn’t until Jake’s sister, Karli, stepped in—somewhat jokingly—that their story began. Karli and Katelynn worked together in the NICU in Hattiesburg, and one day she teased the idea of Katelynn dating her brother. What started as a joke soon turned into something meaningful, and just weeks later, Jake and Katelynn went on their first date. From that moment on, everything fell into place. Over time, they realized that while they may seem like opposites, they are alike in all the ways that matter. Jake, the youngest of five sisters, and Katelynn, the oldest of three brothers, found a balance that felt both ironic and perfectly designed. Their relationship is rooted in faith, love, and a deep trust in God’s plan. Together, they have grown not only in their love for one another but also in their love for the Lord. They are incredibly grateful for the path that brought them together and look forward to a lifetime of memories, walking hand in hand in His purpose.
