Question

What - no dancing?

Answer

In order to accommodate Emily's needs we have chosen a quieter celebration. After taking extensive photos and enjoying a delicious meal with our guests, we welcome you to change into comfy clothes and join us for a pajama sleep over party. As long as weather allows we will have a outdoor fire with s'mores and enjoy a movie and games together as a group. Late night pizza will also be served.

Question

Why are we having multiple ceremonies?

Answer

Emily is on the spectrum and has difficulty transitioning between many different social activities in one day. In order to accommodate Emily's social battery and have them truly present on our special day, we have selected our core family group to celebrate with us in a curated private ceremony. Our second ceremony, next year, will be a more traditional simple wedding ceremony followed immediately by a dance party with a buffet service all in the same location. With more traditional wedding games and activities taking place there, not at the private ceremony in December. Everyone invited to our December event will receive an invitation for our 2025 celebration as well and we encourage you to please attend both events!
