FAQs

Have questions? Well, we have answers! Check below for your question, and if you don't see it listed, please reach out to Tiara or Michael.
Question

I'm unable to attend. Where can I watch the Ceremony?

Answer

For those who couldn't join in person, you can watch the ceremony via this link: https://boxcast.tv/view/wayfarers-wedding-rthoh47samqvrbjt0oql Streaming will begin at Nov 5th at 6pm PST/9pm EST. You do not need to make an account to view it.

Question

What kind of precautions are you taking in regard to the Coronavirus and its variants?

Answer

Safety is our number one priority! Please test 24 hours before attending the ceremony and reception. You are welcome to wear your mask if it makes you more comfortable. We will have hand sanitizer on site and the venue is making sure everything is cleaned and sanitized.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. We expect people to wear cocktail dresses, a nice suit and tie, or swap it out for a sports coat. We want you to look great, but also feel comfortable so you can dance all night long!

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The weather will still be relatively warm during the daytime, averaging mid 70s, with nights getting a bit chillier. Since we will be relatively close to the ocean, there may be a chilly ocean breeze so we recommend dressing in layers.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both will be indoors

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, please start making your way to the reception venue (Harlyne J. Norris Pavilion @ 501 Indian Peak Road, Rolling Hills Estates CA 90274). From there, we will have dinner and dance!

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no” so that we can plan accordingly.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 6 pm. We recommend getting there between 5:45-6 pm. If you’re late, there’s a chance that our planner, Cameron, will have you watch from outside so as to not interrupt the ceremony.

Question

Where should I park? Is parking free?

Answer

Parking is available at the Chapel and holds up to 100 spots. You can not leave your car there overnight. From the ceremony, you can drive to the reception venue where parking is available in the parking structure across the street from the Pavilion. We recommend carpooling if you're able to do so. If you don’t want to drive back and forth then we recommend using a rideshare service to get from the Chapel to the reception if you’re staying in the hotel nearby.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our Wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If we gave you a plus one, when you go to RSVP you will see your Significant Other’s name along with yours, or you will see your name and “Guest”.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love the kids, but we ask that you leave the kiddos at home for the day.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We have one hotel block. It is listed under “Travel” on our website. Please book through the link listed to get the wedding block rates.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 24th. You can RSVP by going to the “RSVP” tab on our website and typing in your name. If your name doesn’t come up, it’s possible you are entered under a nickname, or your name is misspelled on our end. If that happens, please contact Tiara or Michael and let us know.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

You can contribute to our Newlywed fund, which is found on the Registry page of the website. This money will go towards our honeymoon. Any other registry items will be listed there as well.

Question

Will food and drink be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Various small appetizers will be served at the cocktail hour along with drinks. For drinks, we’ll have a mix of liquor, wine, and beer. However, we also will have soft drinks and juices. Dinner is Mediterranean buffet style, and there are vegan options included.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. Everyone will be responsible for their own transportation. You can drive, carpool, or Uber/Lyft to the venues.

Question

Can I take any flowers home at the end of the night as a souvenir?

Answer

Please check with Tiara or our planner, Cameron, before doing so. However, the answer is likely yes. We want to make sure our florist gets back any vessels she may need to reuse for future events.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, definitely! We only ask that you do not take pictures or video during the ceremony as we’d like to leave that to the professionals we’ve hired. However, you may take as many pictures and videos as you’d like during the cocktail hour and reception. If you post anything on social media, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #ALittleItoWedding so we can keep track of all your pictures!
