The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.
The temperature in October is variable but will likely be in the 50's around the time of the ceremony and cocktail hour. You may want to bring a light jacket if you think you might be chilly for the ceremony or throughout the night.
The ceremony will be outdoors at the venue and will last approximately 30 minutes. After the ceremony, cocktail hour will have areas available for seating both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor area will have heaters if necessary. The reception will be in the ballroom at the venue.
Yes! There will be a one hour after party at the venue when the reception ends. This will be listed as a separate event when you RSVP so please make sure you correctly RSVP to all events. If you do not wish to attend the venue after party, feel free to have some drinks at the hotel bar (no need to RSVP to that).
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
If you plan to drive, the venue's address is 51 Salisbury Ave, Garden City NY 11530. We have arranged transportation for those staying at the hotel (see Travel & Accomodations tab of the website).
The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 5:30pm, and we ask that you please arrive somewhere between 5:00pm & 5:20pm so that we are able to start on time.
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. Please RSVP only for those listed on your invitation.
Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. If you have "& Guest" on your invitation, you may bring a guest. We've also written how many seats we've reserved for you on your RSVP card for clarity. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Yes! We have arranged for a shuttle to begin trips to the venue as early as 4pm. The shuttle will do as many trips as possible to the venue until the ceremony starts. We suggest you do not leave later than a 4:45pm shuttle. At the end of the night, the shuttle will make trips back to the hotel from 10:30pm - 12:30am for those that would like to go back and also for those staying for the after party.
