Yes, it is elevated semi-formal attire: Women can wear a midi/maxi dress or an elegant jumpsuit, while men can wear a suit with a dress shirt. We kindly request that you avoid wearing light blue to help our bridal party stand out. We encourage bright seasonal colors!
Yes Glen Magna has parking for the ceremony and reception, it can accomodate up to 100 cars.
Yes we will be providing a shuttle from the Best Western Plus North Shore Hotel to the ceremony. It will depart at 4:20 in the front lobby for the 5pm ceremony start time. At the conclusion of the night there will also be a shuttle to bring everyone back to the hotel at 10pm.
Yes, there is a welcome night at the Best Western Plus North Shore Hotel the night before the wedding on Saturday August 29th. It will start at 7pm and will start the festivities of the weekend. We have drinks available but BYOB is also encouraged. We are also welcoming everyone back to the hotel after the conclusion of the reception to continue the night with more celebrating.
Yes we will be having an open bar throughout cocktail hour and reception. Drinks on us!
We encourage our guests to arrive at 4:30pm at Glen Magna. We will have water refreshments before the start of the ceremony and it will give you time to find your seat.
Yes we have reserved a wedding block at the Best Western Plus North Shore Hotel. Please use the code "Litra/MacLean". There are many other hotel options in the Danvers, Salem area as well.
The ceremony will be outside in the gardens at Glen Magna. The reception will immediately follow and will be under a tent on the grounds of Glen Magna.
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.
