Our story began in 2022 at the Build Conference in Cape Town. From our first meeting, there was a special connection one that felt natural and effortless. But at the time, life had us in different seasons, and the distance between us made it difficult for our relationship to flourish. Even so, our story didn’t end there. Our paths kept crossing at Every Nation conferences, and each time we reconnected, it felt like there was something we couldn’t ignore. In 2025, at another Build Conference, Lito approached Rosalia with humility and asked her out for coffee. Throughout the conference, he remained intentionally showing up, supporting her, and even helping capture content as she celebrated her graduation. His persistence wasn’t loud or forceful, but steady and genuine. When Rosalia returned home, she remembered a book she had once written about their story, when they first met. Even though the physical pages were gone, the words remained in her heart. As she reflected on them, she felt led to give their love another chance. Beyond their love for each other, they share a deep passion for reaching the next generation with the gospel, serving, discipling, and living out a purpose greater than themselves. Not long after, they began taking intentional steps forward. With clarity, intention, and a shared vision for the future, they made the decision to spend the rest of their lives together.
