Yes! Please be prepared to dress in semi-formal or garden cocktail attire. Bridesmaids will be wearing blush/dusty pink! On the flip side, we do expect dancing and walking, so be prepared to wear comfortable shoes you can get down in and walk comfortably on grass or stone paths.
Nope! We highly recommend NOT to rent a car as it will diminish the joy of your trip. Philly traffic and parking can be very stressful, especially for new visitors. To explore the city, you can walk or take public transport. Uber is always available. ! A free shuttle service will be provided from Center City Philadelphia to the venue and returning afterwards. We will text you information leading up to the event.
No whites, off-whites or gold, please! Refer to the mood board for color inspiration.
Both! There will be a covered portion of the venue, with open areas to walk around and enjoy. The venue, Morris Arboretum, has 92 acres to explore and enjoy the beautiful trees, gardens, and sights.
Please plan to arrive between 5-6 PM (or take our shuttle service from Center City). Doors at Morris Arboretum will be open for our guests at 5 PM. Be ready at 6 PM to be seated at the Rose Garden Ceremony Site.
In May, Philadelphia can be warm and begin to get humid, with a high of 75 and a low of 53 on average. It is normally very sunny.
We strongly discourage any phone use during the ceremony. Phones during weddings disrupt a beautiful moment, and we have talented photographers expertly catching the scene. Do not worry! We will send photos in a timely manner, and notify everyone when they are ready.
