Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Molly Lister and John Wayman
We think hanging by the pool or relaxing at the spa at Rockhouse is perfection, but If you want to explore, here are some of the things that we have done/heard about during our trip to Negril!

Rockhouse Hotel Spa

The spa at Rockhouse is pure relaxation! We both took advantage of treatments while we were there and cannot recommend it enough! Wedding guests staying at Rockhouse will enjoy a 30% discount on all spa treatments so definitely treat yourself!

Negril Seven Mile Beach

Negril, Jamaica

Take a day to relax on the beautiful seven mile beach in Negril. Rockhouse has a shuttle to their sister hotel on the beach, Skylark, every day that leaves at 11am and returns at 3pm.

Negril Hills Golf Club

Westmoreland Parish, Jamaica
+1 876-957-4638

Negril Hills Golf Club is an 18-hole, 120-acre, par-72 course. Located high above the white beaches of Negril in the lush green hills, this stunning club is just 15 minutes away from Rockhouse Hotel & Spa. The tropical greenery, elevated tees and greens, gently undulating fairways, and picturesque water hazards make this a great local track. The wind, water, and 6,333 yards of rolling hills make for a challenging yet satisfying round. There are a couple of exceptionally tough greens (after playing here a few times, we think you have to be a magician to make the ball stick on the 9th), but as long as you’re patient, you’ll be able to keep your irie vibe! Practice your swing as you overlook the gorgeous vistas of Negril. Carts and a caddy are a must at this hilly track. Call (876) 957-4638 to arrange a tee time.

Tryall Golf Club

Alice Eldemire Dr., Hanover Parish, Jamaica
+1 876-956-5660

The Tryall Club is about 55 minutes away from Rockhouse Hotel & Spa. It’s the best quality golf in the area! The Tryall Club was once home to the PGA Tour’s Johnnie Walker World Championship and the LPGA Tour’s Jamaica Classic. Texan architect Ralph Plummer built the course in 1960, and it hosts golfers from around the world. Located on a 2,200-acre luxury resort complex, this picturesque course has great sea views, rolling fairways, devilish greens, and a unique layout. It is considered one of the finest golf courses in the Caribbean. Set on the site of a 19th-century sugar plantation, one of the tees is even located beside an original water wheel. It’s one of the most photographed sites in Jamaica! Call the golf pro shop at 956-5681 or 956-5660 ext 4202 or book your tee time online.
