The Wedding Website of Olivia LaMore and Billy Liss
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we’d love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting a “Funky Formal/New Orleans Festive” dress code. Jazz it up! Bring out the color, accessories, shoes, ties, bowties, etc. Be creative! No jeans, please. If you need inspiration, copy and paste this link to check out our mood board: https://pin.it/6DzMt2bY6

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will be having a welcome party for all guests in town from 7-9PM on Thursday, November 14th, the night before the wedding. Swing by for a drink at Big Mama's Lounge at the House of Blues!

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception are taking place at Brennan’s restaurant in the French Quarter!

Question

What's a "New Orleans Style" cocktail reception?

Answer

"New Orleans Style" cocktail receptions are not your traditional seated dinners, but consist of heavy passed hors d'oeuvres at the start of the night, open stations and buffets with emphasis on lots of food options, lots of beverages, and a highly dynamic and social atmosphere that allows guests to move freely about the reception space. Seating is left open for guests to choose their own seats and tables. OPEN EATS, OPEN SEATS (eat when you want, drink when you want, sit where you want, and dance all night)!

Question

How do we get there?

Answer

Brennan’s is a walkable distance from almost all hotels and Airbnb's in the area (especially in the French Quarter), but Ubers/Lyfts are also abundant in the area if you’d prefer to hitch a ride. If you are concerned about walking, just need a guide around the city, or need an alternative to Uber and Lyft, hail a Pedicab! Their three-wheeled bicycle taxis have trained drivers that provide a fun, practical way of getting around New Orleans. To schedule a Pedicab, call (504)-488-6565 or visit their website at needaridenola.com. You can always hail a pedicab if you see one on the street, too!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can click the RSVP tab above and RSVP at any time! We will not be including a paper RSVP with the invite. We are strictly only taking electronic RSVP's.

Question

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please see the RSVP tab and indicate that you “Will NOT Attend” so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP’d “Attending”, but find that you will not make it, please notify us as soon as you are aware.

Question

Can I bring a date or plus one?

Answer

Due to limited capacity at the venue, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invite will be made out to “(Your Name) & Guest” if a plus one has been given to you. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is this a kid-friendly wedding?

Answer

We love and adore your little ones, however, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this night as a fun date night! We appreciate you making prior arrangements so you can celebrate with us.
