Megan is my built-in best friend being my little sister. She is the life and the source of laughter at the party. Megan is the person who will do anything for her friends and family. She fights hard for the people she loves. Hope exudes her. I admire her ability to stay focused and not worry about the things she cannot control. She goes through life's joys and struggles with grace and hope and patience. I am so thankful to have her as my sister and that she made me an official auntie!

It will take a long time for Josh to live with me as long as Cassie did. Cassie is a friendship that I can only attribute to God's grace and provision in my life. Cassie was a forced roommate several years ago because I had nowhere else to go. We were not friends-worse-we did not even like each other. Cassie ended up being the person I needed in my life during those 10 years. God used her to speak truth to me, lead me, love me, and encourage me. She taught me how to be a better friend and prepared me for marriage. How many people actually get the chance to live with someone for 10 years before they get married? :) I am forever grateful for you Cassie. I am thankful to have you in my life every day. Lydia became one of my dearest friends early in college. A shared interest in the tv show, Newlyweds, quickly developed into a deep, lifelong friendship. Lydia has one of the softest and most empathetic hearts I have ever met. She feels what you feel. Lydia listens well and can handle all of the emotions, and she also speaks truth over me daily. Her ability to forgive and forget is a quality that I admire in her. She is a servant. When help is needed, you will find Lydia there. She is creative and hardworking and is the best entertainer and host around! Lydia-the stability and depth of our friendship are such a blessing to me. Age 5! That is when I had the honor of meeting this gem of a human. I have not known many people longer than her. Emmer isn't just a friend I had way back when, she has been a constant in my life since then. The way God has used her in my life is the most incredible thing. She accepted Christ as her Savior, and then she shared her testimony with me, and I accepted Christ as my Savior. We have been through all stages of life together. She has led the way in every area, and I look to her as a mentor, sister, best friend, confidant, and much more. Thank you for your love, guidance, the pursuit of Jesus and my heart, for never giving up, and for loving me and people so fiercely. You are the picture of the hands and feet of Christ.

Although I have known Jennifer the shortest, I have already been blessed by her as a friend and a future sister. Jennifer's grace and patience is extraordinary. She loves people so well, and she believes in people. Jennifer is someone who does what it takes to make sure people feel loved, taken care of, heard, and helped. I have seen her be an incredible mom to her boys and amazing sister to Josh. I am looking forward to growing our friendship.

Couch lights up a room. She has the ability to bring excitement and fire to everything she does. She is the most influential person. She has talked me into many events including midnight movie showings that I would never regret because of the memories we have been able to create. She is devoted and loyal. Amanda has woke up in the middle of the night to come to me when I needed her. She is my forever hype girl.

Sarah has been my partner in crime since college. In all things church, planning, gatherings, and travel, you cannot find one without the other. I am most thankful for the relentless pursuit Sarah has had in my life. God used her in my life. He prompted her to keep pursuing me and inviting me to things until He worked on my heart enough to say yes. Sarah quickly became a role model and a mentor and very soon after that a very dear friend. The grace, love, and patience she has brought to my life are unforgettable. Adventure is what I think about when I think about Sarah and our friendship. Beyond grateful that life has been an adventure with you, my friend.

Naomi's pursuit of the Lord and what He has for her life is extraordinary and encouraging. She strives to be like Him every day, and she is an example to those around her in that pursuit. Naomi is a woman of faith and has exemplified what it means to step out of the norm and in faith to make life's decisions, and I admire her for that. One night at one of my last summer college ministry events, we sat on the swings by each other and talked. This was our first deep, real conversation, and it was all that was needed for our friendship to bloom. Naomi quickly became my person. Our friendship is marked by challenging each other in our faith, praying for each other in hard times, praising God together for answered prayers, and lots of patio/deck nights with a glass of wine. I am thankful that our friendship can pass the test of distance, time, and change.

I have had the joy of being friends with Katya since college. We have always been in the same small group together. Katya and I were a part of each other's lives as God was gripping and molding each of us individually. Katya is the friend who will fight for you. She is the safe place and comfort of quiet or a hug. Katya has been there for me to talk and even just sit in silence when I don't want to be alone and don't want to talk. Her affirming and supportive love brings a safety and comfort to anyone she is around. Katya is a good dance party, a dictionary for all things nerdy that I do not know, and a contagious laugh. I am blessed to spend life with her.

Logan is Josh's niece. The first time I met her, we became besties. Logan is a beautiful little girl who has a heart of gold. She loves to play barbies and color. She is hilarious and has an incredible imagination. Uncle Josh loves to play robots with Logan.

Miss Malia is Chelsea's niece. She is a gift from God. We prayed for this little girl for many years, and now that she is here, we cannot imagine our lives without her. She is spunky and busy. She loves to dance and play with bubbles. She is the life of the party when she walks into the room.
