Boston's Seaport District is Lisi's favorite neighborhood in the city. It'll full of bars and restaurants and has beautiful views. Lisi loves walking along the water and taking in the beautiful views. Some of our favorite Seaport spots are: Bar Taco (Tacos and Margaritas) The Barking Crab (Seafood and beers) Pastoral (Pizza) Smoke Shop (BBQ) Cisco (pop up outdoor brewery) Trillium (brewery with outdoor seating) Lolitas (Mexican and margaritas) Shake Shack (fast food burgers)

The Lookout Rooftop at Envoy Hotel has arguably the best views in Boston! It's free to go up to the rooftop and you can purchase a drink and take in the sights. If you go when the kitchen is open, you can also enjoy lunch or dinner overlooking the harbor. Just make sure to check opening and closing hours before making plans to go here. Once in Seaport, you can eat at one of our favorite taco and margarita places, Bar Taco or enjoy a beer at the summer pop up brewery, Cisco.

Sam and Lisi love to walk, run, or bike around the Charles River Esplanade. It offers beautiful views of the Charles River, lots of nature, and even a pop up summer Night Shift brewery. There are little spots along the way for you to relax on a bench or sit on the dock and enjoy the weather and views. We recommend crossing the Longfellow bridge, otherwise known as the "salt and pepper" bridge.

Unofficially known as "Boston's Little Italy." Lisi and Sam eat here often and always take friends and family who are visiting to our favorite Italian restaurant, Panza. Check out the famous Mike's Pastry for dessert (if you're into cannolis). Mare Oyster Bar is a great option for an appetizer and drink in a unique outdoor setting. Check out Parla for some fantastic cocktails.

Boston Commons is a public park in Downtown Boston. There's a fun fountain area (Frog pond) if you're visiting with kids, and it's a great spot to walk around and enjoy the afternoon surrounded by greenery.

Don’t set your expectations too high! Boston's sad excuse for beaches are city beaches Carson beach and Pleasure Bay. Pro tip: create an account with Boston's Blue Bike and ride your bike to/from the beach. There are plenty of docking stations nearby. If you have a volleyball, there's plenty of nets set up. Other Boston area beaches (accessible most easily by car but there’s some public transit too) are: Nahant beach - this is where Sam likes to kite surf!
