No, we are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning no phones are to be out. AT ALL INSIDE THE CHURCH. We have professional videographers and photographers that we are paying for to capture our special moment. Please be respectful to the church and our decision.

Yes, they are. The only thing we ask is for our first dance, we keep tabs on the babies that they don’t run on the dance floor.

Is there transportation from the church to the reception?

Yes, we will be providing a shuttle service. Pick up time from the church will be at 3:30pm. PLEASE BE ON TIME; we will NOT have another pick up from the church.

No, a list will be provided to the security guards at the front gate of our reception. If you did not RSVP, your surprise guest will NOT be allowed in. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Does my child need a passport?

Answer

Children of any age need a passport to travel internationally by air. If you should already have a passport for your child, please review the expiration date. Passports for children under age 16 are only VALID for 5 YEARS & CAN'T be renewed. A new application is required.

What do I bring with me for my passport appointment?

An original copy of your birth certificate, but make a copy as well, physical photo ID and a photo copy of it (front & back), passport photo (Costco, cheaper), passport application and a check or money order. Leave the “to whom” blank on your check or money order: The USPS employee will guide you what to write. MAKE A COPY OR TAKE A PHOTO OF THE CHECK OR MONEY ORDER FOR YOUR RECORDS! Application fee: $130; Acceptance fee: $35, both fees are paid SEPARATELY. Delivery can take up to: 4 - 8 weeks, without it being expedited. Plan accordingly.

Can I rent a car in El Valle?

Can I pay with my debit or credit card?

Answer

I do NOT recommend using your debit card. For bigger cities, you can use your credit card. If it's a small town, most don't offer that option and prefer pesos. DO NOT FORGET TO NOTIFY YOUR BANK! Also, there may be a transaction fee on top of an international fee. A great credit card to use that does NOT charge international fees is the COSTCO ANYWHERE VISA card.

How much money should I take?

Answer

Depending how long you should stay, but ideally $500 each is more than enough for splurging and dining.

Where should I exchange my money?

Answer

Check with your personal bank or any Western Union; compare exchange rates. You can get a better exchange rate for $100 bills vs $20 bills. Opt to be charged in Mexican peso, if asked | AVOID exchanging money at the airport, hotels, and tourist areas.

When should I check the currency trade for MXN pesos?

Answer

Every day in the morning. If the exchange rate is 19 or more, trade your USD. If the exchange rate is 18 or less, do NOT!
