Who can say that they went to the same daycare with the love of their life? We can! Ascension and I went to the same daycare when we were babies! We even have pictures to prove it.

As you can tell, our parents knew each other for a very long time. We ran into each other after many years and it was love at first site (again)! In 2012, my family and I started going to Ascension's football games. He is such a great athlete and his passion for football made me fall in love even more. After all the games, we would go have pizza all together and we really got the chance to get to know each other. This is where it all started.

December 21, 2012 was the first day of forever. We went on a walk and in the sweetest, most romantic way Ascension asked me to be his girlfriend. This was the happiest day of my life and the best birthday present I could ask for.

There is always a special way that a woman envisions her engagement. I mentioned how I envisioned it once to Ascension years prior and little did I know it would be exactly how I imagined. We went to Half Moon Bay to celebrate our 4 year anniversary and my 21st birthday - so I thought! After a romantic dinner and night together, it was our anniversary! We had an amazing breakfast and spent some quality time together. Shortly after that, I ended up blindfolded! When I took off my blindfold, I was surprised to see both families there all standing in front of the ocean side. This is exactly what I asked for. This was the most beautiful, romantic and PERFECT proposal ever! Of course there was only one answer - YES!! There was only one way to celebrate such an amazing day with all the family! Pizza of course!
