Please see the "What To Wear?" tab
Park City is at 7,000 feet and the wedding ceremony at Snowbird is at 10,518 feet. Most people that visit don't feel too much impact - and drinking lots of water can help. There are also over-the-counter meds that can help too. High altitude also causes stronger sun exposure, so please make sure you pack some sunscreen.
Not really anymore. There are "bars" and "restaurants". In a restaurant, you need to order food to get a drink. Some places have the $1 chips to make it easy. In a bar, you need to be 21 to get in, and there's no food requirement. In all settings, you can only have 1 drink at a time.
Beer / seltzer etc is sold in supermarkets and convenience stores. Wine and liquor is only sold in the state liquor store. 1550 Snow Creek Dr, Park City, UT 84060 (state liquor stores are closed on Sunday)
There is a free public bus system, and Uber/Lyft are usually around. With Utah having a .05 DUI limit, please don't drink and drive. . You can download the myStop Mobile app - and put in Park City to see the bus stops, times etc. https://www.parkcity.org/departments/transit-bus/routes-schedules
Yes. We will have a few shuttles transporting guests from the Park City hotels to the Wedding at Snowbird. It's about a 45 minute ride - and we'll provide more details as it gets closer. After the wedding, the shuttles will depart at a few different times, allowing guests to leave earlier in the night or to stay late. Also, if you prefer to drive your own vehicle, that is fine too! Just make sure you have a designated driver. Please know that Uber is NOT a reliable form of transportation to/from Snowbird.
We have chosen not to register as we recognize this is a journey for most guests- and having you make the effort to share in our special day is the best gift ever! So please - no gifts!

All the hotels are fine, but here's a little commentary: The Peaks Hotel is where we got the best deal with one of those hotel blocks. It's a little under 10-minute walk to our house which helps for the Saturday night function. Hotel Park City is a little nicer and the same 10-minute walk to our house. The Marriott option is right in town on Main Street - within walking distance of the in-town bars, which helps for the Friday night function. Hyatt Place is the newest hotel in our list, but a few miles away. We added it just to provide an additional option.
