Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place at the Historic DeKalb County Courthouse (also known as the DeKalb History Center or The Old Courthouse On The Square) located at 101 E Court Square, Decatur, GA 30030.

Will any part of the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be indoors! The cocktail hour is downstairs in the lobby of the building, but there will be high-top tables located outside as well (weather permitting).

Can we bring our children?

Answer

We understand that many of you have children that may be with you in Atlanta during this time. Our wedding, however, will be adults only. We are in the process of arranging a babysitter off-site during our wedding, please reach out to us if you would like your kids to be included in those plans!

Do you have room blocks at a hotel?

Answer

Yes! We have two room blocks that are walking distance from our venue, and one room block in Alpharetta (near where our parents live). Please check out our Travel tab for more information!

How can we get to the venue?

Answer

There are plenty of Ubers available in this area! But on the weekends it can sometimes take 15-20 minutes for your driver to meet you, so please plan accordingly. There is also a MARTA train station one block away from our venue, and plenty of parking decks if you'd like to drive yourself! If you are staying at one of the hotels near our venue, they may offer overnight parking. Please check out our "Travel" tab for more information!
