Flight
There are a few airports around the northern tip of the Leelanau Peninsula but the closest and most convenient is the TVC in Traverse City. It’s located about 30-35 miles south of Northport, making it an ideal choice for guests. A rental car will be necessary to reach your destination from the airport.

All rental car counters are conveniently located at the airport terminal, making pick-up and drop-off quick and hassle-free. Driving Directions to Northport Take M-22 North along the western shore of the Leelanau Peninsula. Follow M-22 through Suttons Bay and continue until you reach Northport.
Flight
While TVC is closer to Northport, flying into GRR (located about 160 miles south of Northport) might offer more flight options or better fares. However, be prepared for a longer drive to your destination.

All rental car agencies are easily accessible on the first level of the parking garage, directly across from the baggage claim area. Driving Directions to Northport Take US-131 North to M-72 West toward Traverse City. Then, follow M-22 North along the Leelanau Peninsula to Northport.
