Lisa and Nathan met in Kitchener-Waterloo Chinese Alliance Church when they were both students at the University of Waterloo. They quickly became good friends and study buddies. Lisa’s passion for cooking and cleverness soon attracted Nathan’s attention. Lisa also found Nathan’s thoughtfulness very impressive.

In the past three years, they have learned a lot about each other. They were in a long-distance relationship for two years and recently reunited in Boston. All these years they shared a lot of happiness and sadness. But yet, one thing they have learned the most is that love is patient and never fails. And now, they are ready for marriage and they know God will continue to bless them and guide them in the future.
