Is There a Fee to Enter the Park?

Answer

Yes, there is a $35 entrance fee per private vehicle, which is valid for 7 consecutive days.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Due to the high elevation and early morning time of the ceremony, temperatures will be on the chilly side. Historically, the temperature in the park around 8am has been in the mid 40's to low 50's. Temperatures will warm up throughout the day so wearing layers is suggested.

Are There Restrooms at Glacier Point Amphitheater?

Answer

Yes, but please note, restroom facilities are vault toilets (non-flushing toilets).

Is There Parking at Glacier Point Amphitheater?

Answer

Yes! The walk from the Glacier Point parking lot to the Glacier Point overlook (which includes the amphitheater) is a short, paved, 300-yard trail, accessible by wheelchair.

Will I Have Cell Reception in the Park?

Answer

Most areas of the park you will not have cell service. Limited cell service is available, mainly in parts of Yosemite Valley. Free Wi-Fi is also available at Degnan's Kitchen.
