Ron and Lisa’s Great Parking Adventure Our wedding venue is beautiful and sits on the beach. At the end of August, parking will be at a premium. Here are some options: If you’re very lucky, you can get street parking. There is metered parking on Coast Blvd and free parking in the residential areas north of the Del Mar Beach Hotel. We wouldn’t count on these too much. There is a paid lot across the street, but some yahoo thought it would be a good idea to buy the entire lot for the summer and charge his own egregious rates. Last time we checked it was $50 for two hours. A very good option is the valet lot at L’Auberge Del Mar. They are located at 1540 Camino Del Mar, Del Mar, CA 92014 and parking is $25 for the day. Our venue, Powerhouse, sits west and behind the hotel. If you’re clever, you might be able to walk through the hotel and down a path that comes out near Powerhouse. If you’re less adventuresome, just walk around the block. Across from L’Auberge is Del Mar Plaza. It has underground parking for about $30 for 5 hours There is free parking in the Civic Center Parking Lot, located at 1050 Camino Del Mar. This is a bit far to walk.
