We were both invited to hang out at Hummel Park by our mutual Friend. We were very shy, barely talked, and probably made it a little awkward—but somehow the night still ended with dinner, and that’s when I met his boys for the first time. Later, he had our mutual friend pass along his number (smooth move). Once we started texting, we hit it off instantly and pretty much never stopped talking. Over the next few months, we grew closer and closer… to the point where he was basically living with me every night (lol). Eventually, we made it official—moving in together and buying our first home last June. Turns out, we’re pretty great at doing life together. Then on Christmas Day 2025, he popped the question, and of course, I said YES. And now here we are—proof that sometimes the best love stories start with a little shyness, a text message, and a whole lot of love.
