Black tie formal if you please. Dress warmly as it will be chilly in November in the woods.
September 30th.
Everything is held at Nestldown, and we will be completely outdoors. If there is an extreme drop of temperature or pouring rain, the staff will make the call and we will be transferred indoors.
The venue have strict rules about kids who climb, wander and vandalize their property. Welcome any newborns or toddlers who will be under constant supervision. But our suggestion is to leave kids at home and fully enjoy the short weekday celebration! Please see the venue rules: https://www.nestldown.com/visitors-rules
Hotel Los Gatos and Best Western Inn Los Gatos are probably the closest stays. For those who want to stay longer and explore we'd recommend booking a stay in Santa Cruz and enjoying the weekend there.
Because Nestldown is so nestled in the woods, Uber and Lyfts typically do not pick up there. We do recommend carpooling and renting own car to get there. There is no shuttle service as most guests are driving themselves.
We highly recommend being present during the ceremony as there are hired photographers, videographer, and even a live stream for the ceremony. After that, there will be a fun optional side quest involving polaroid cameras so you can go wild afterwards.
