We're getting married!

Some couples meet in coffee shops. Others swipe right. Lisa and Peter met on a kickball field back in January 2021, where first impressions were made and seriously misunderstood. Lisa assumed Peter was quiet. Reserved, maybe. Turns out, he was just really focused on winning. She admired the intensity and eventually, the guy behind it. They started going out on dates and made it official that May. Lisa soon realized she would have to share Peter with another girl, Mia, a seven-week-old German Shepherd puppy with an excellent taste in humans. She quickly became a loyal third wheel. Since then, they have shared countless memories, meals, and lazy Sundays. Both raised in Miami, Lisa and Peter left before ever crossing paths. Peter went off to FSU (Go ’Noles), while Lisa headed to the “Big Apple” after college to pursue a career in fashion —and dream in black, white, and editorial spreads. Which would soon wind up being their favorite travel spot. Eventually, they each found their way back to Miami and into each other’s lives. They also both happen to love football, a mutual obsession that sparked an early connection and ongoing debates. Lisa comes from a devoted ‘Canes family, which makes game days… spirited. Their household is divided during football season, but absolutely thriving the rest of the year. Their friendly rivalry involves a lot of banter, questionable bets, and zero apologies. In September 2022, they moved in together and Mia couldn’t be happier there was another girl in the house. Peter quickly became outnumbered. Their daily life has become a mix of sporting adventures, recipe experiments, spontaneous dance breaks in the kitchen, and planning their next getaway. Together, they’ve road-tripped through New England eating their body weight in lobster rolls, cheered on Formula 1 cars at the Monaco Grand Prix, and gotten engaged during a sunrise on a quiet beach in Madeira. If there’s great food and a good story to be made, you’ll probably find them there. They love an adventure. They also love unwinding on a beach somewhere with a drink in hand and nowhere to be. But most of all, they love each other. The wedding is coming soon. But first, mark your calendars—this story’s only getting better.
