We started as friends, who enjoyed going to church together. Lisa had the opportunity to rent the house that Miguel was renting a room in. We quickly became best friends. We never had to worry about being someone else, just ourselves. We know more about each other then most people know. Miguel would joke and say "only 10 more months and we can date" (that was when our lease was up). Lisa's sisters told her to let her guard down and realize what was in front of her. What happens in Vegas does not always stay in Vegas! We went on a mini vacation to visit Lisa's friend Charmaine and that's when we both knew we would be together forever. Miguel and Faith planned the engagement together. Faith wanted to be a part of it. Miguel proposed to Lisa at Faith's birthday party. The following month we closed on our forever home. Just shy of 1 year of dating, we will be saying I do!
