Travel Note

Regarding Room Rates...

At this time, we were not able to find any hotels in the downtown area that could offer a rate under $200/night. There are some motels in the area but they don't look like the most comfortable places to stay. We recommend that, if the price range is outside your planned budget, you look into the many Air B&B options in the Long Beach area, focusing on the Downtown area. The venue address is: 2708 E 4th St, Long Beach, CA 90814 for reference when looking at potential options.

Flight

Long Beach (LGB) > Santa Ana (SNA) > Los Angeles (LAX)

If you are planning on flying out, the Long Beach airport is the way to go. It's super easy to get in and out, and is only about a 15 minute ride from the Downtown Long Beach area. If you need more flight options, you can also check out the Santa Ana airport, which is farther, but still relatively easy in and out. If there aren't any options there, then LAX will be the way to go, just prepare yourself for the LA traffic.
