Question

How do you get to Milwaukee?

Answer

For our friends living in Chicago, Milwaukee is just a short 1.5 hour drive away! For those traveling from elsewhere, domestically, there are nonstop flights into the Milwaukee Airport (MKE) from major hubs such as New York City and Kansas City. For guests traveling internationally, flights will include a layover in a major city, such as Chicago.

Question

Are the wedding event venues within the city?

Answer

Yes! Both the welcome party and wedding venue will be in Milwaukee proper.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

The wedding will be adults only with limited exceptions for immediate family. Please note that only guests named on the formal invitation are permitted to attend the celebration. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

For the welcome event, the attire is garden party. Think effortless but elevated. - Examples for women: https://pin.it/7azt9GSjG For the wedding ceremony and reception, the attire is black-tie preferred. Think floor length gowns or dresses for women and suits or tuxes for men. - Examples for women: https://pin.it/76KEL6e6e There is no required color scheme, but if you'd like to match the atmosphere, pastels and muted colors are encouraged for women and black tuxes/suits are encouraged for men! The bridesmaids are not all wearing the same color - so no need to be concerned you'll accidentally be matching with them! :)

Question

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

The detailed schedule is still in the works! Check back later!

Question

Will Lisa be changing her last name?

Answer

Nope! :) For some context, in Chinese culture, when women are married, they typically keep their maiden names!

Question

When and how should I RSVP?

Answer

Formal invites will be coming soon. Please RSVP by July 8th using the RSVP tab of this wedding website.
