Thank you so, so much for traveling all the way from you home to be with us on our special day! Since it'll be winter and weather may delay flights (knock on wood!), we advise you arrive no later than Friday, Feb. 14, to ensure you'll be in town for our Saturday wedding.
We do not advise you rent a car. The subway system is easy to navigate and plenty of Ubers/Lyfts/cabs to get you from A to B. Plus, parking in the city will get pricey. Free spots are hard to come by and if you do find one, you'll probably have to wake up early to move the car to then try to hunt for another freebie spot.
We have room blocks at three hotels—all are near the wedding venue and fun neighborhoods to explore, too (lower Manhattan and downtown Brooklyn), with easy access to subways. If you are a larger group, airbnb is also an option. Please reach out to us if you're planning to stay in an airbnb and we'd be happy to help guide you on specific areas.
The address is: 501 Union Street Brooklyn, NY 11231 We will not have a shuttle, so we recommend taking a car service (Uber, Lyft, etc.) or taxi. Alternatively, if it isn't too chilly, the venue is several block walk from major subway stations. The best option would be to take the R train to Union Street station.
The wedding will promptly start at 5:30 pm, so we advise you to arrive at least 15 minutes before this.
Black tie optional. If you own a tuxedo, feel free to wear it and keep Kyle company. If you have a gown, pull it out of the closet! Suits and cocktail dresses are great, too.
If you are renting a tuxedo and don't have any of your own ideas, feel free to sport the same look as Kyle. He is renting from theblacktux.com and can send you the details! Just send us a message and we will put you in the system.
