Where the heck are we going?

Answer

. . Green Gables is beautiful, outdoor venue in Southern California. It is home to a historical schoolhouse and gorgeous outdoor garden. We will be outside all night in San Diego county, but the reception will be in a tented area. Please feel free to bring a coat!

But what do we wear?!

Answer

Semi-formal garden chic. Ya, we don't really knows what that means either. We'll leave it up to you to Google and interpret yourselves. Yes, you're overthinking it. Yes, wear something you can dance and play lawn games in. You got this... go get ‘em, tiger!

What feels like important information for me to mentally prepare?

Answer

There is a hill that leads from the parking lot to the final wedding location. But once you make it up that hill, we are staying there for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception! We love a one-stop-shop! If you will have trouble climbing up a not-crazy-but-still-concerning hill... please let a parking attendant know you need to be dropped off at the top of the hill.

When's the RSVP deadline?

If you ask Lisa- yesterday! But Justin kindly asks that you RSVP by October 5 to keep the peace. We ask you RSVP by this date so we can finalize all the details for a great evening!

Where do we park?

Answer

There is a parking lot surrounding the location. Feel free to carpool, especially if you plan to drink!

Where do we sleep?

Answer

Hopefully in a bed. Just kidding! We appreciate that so many of you are traveling to celebrate with us! We've secured hotel room blocks at the Fairfield and Hampton Inn in San Marcos (check out the links listed in the Travel tab). We've listed additional nearby hotels and airports for your research. We also recommend looking at Airbnb for larger housing options!

Can I bring additional people or kids?

Answer

We would love to include everyone, but we kindly ask that you stick to the individuals listed on the invitation. If you need clarification, the RSVP page will list those we have accounted for. We appreciate your understanding as we manage space limitations and families traveling from out of state.
