They met through a mutual friend, who happened to double book them for a study session. Jordan was in his second year of medical school and Lisa was a sophomore at UH Mānoa completing her undergraduate degree. Jordan was extremely busy during that year and wasn’t the friendliest person to be around. Nonetheless, Lisa and Jordan became good friends soon after and their story started that day, at Starbucks in Koko Marina.

Jordan and Lisa tied the knot following Jordan’s completion of his residency. Jordan is working hard as a doctor and Lisa is getting her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. Now they are living in Kahala with their son (Maro) and enjoying each other’s company everyday.
